Unit teaching and administration

In 2014 a Library Adviser was appointed to provide administrative and operational support for the unit. This role ensures the comprehensive management of administrative processes including student information management, processing assessment workflows, responsive communication to clients, and assisting the AIRS Librarian in the maintenance of resources and the provision of data and reports. The blended learning model is coordinated by the AIRS Librarian, and the AIRS Library Adviser (AIRS Coordination Team) and supported by a team of 12 Liaison Librarians (FTE) who participate in AIRS teaching and marking on a rotational basis, and in addition provide individual, personalised consultations to AIRS students on an as needs basis.
